Why it matters to you?

The current and future workforce is more likely to change careers multiple times throughout their lifetime. Gone are the days of guaranteed consistent work. Hopping around the job environment in industries such as engineering, consulting and education is a requirement not up for discussion. Employees should have a plethora of hard digital literacy skills at their fingertips if they hope to not get turned town during the interview process. Don’t think that because a child grew up in the information age that these skills will naturally come to him/her. Like anything these hard skills must be trained through repetition and focused attention.
